Ardyce-Jean was the daughter of Lloyd Thomas and Laura (Todd) Weatherwax. She married Billie Gene "Nick" Humy on June 12, 1948. He survives.

Ardyce-Jean is also survived by three daughters, Christine (Theodore) Koundakjian, Constance (John) Iverson and Catherine Humy; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Dr. Donna Lee Humy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Peter Humy.

Ardyce-Jean was a graduate of Iowa State University. She loved to travel and attend her grandchildren's school events.
