Quinlan, Lester L. -- age 83 -- a long time Hobart resident -- passed away Friday, July 8, 1988. Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Linda L. (Emerson H.) Tiller of Merrillville; one son, David S. (Barbara I.) Quinlan of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Julia C. Milteer of Hobart, Beth A. Milteer of Chicago, David L. Quinlan and Matthew B. Quinlan -- both of Atlanta, Georgia. Preceded in death by his wife, Truth T. Quinlan on January 26, 1981.
Funeral services Monday, July 11, 1988 at 10 a.m. in the Burns Funeral Home, (Hobart), corner of Rt. 51 and 7th St. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart. Friends may call at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Quinlan was a retired assistant general manager of Inland Steel Corporation; a member of the I.E.E.E. of Inland Steel Corporation; a member of the A.E.C.; member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity of Purdue University; member of the Hobart Lions Club.
