Rev.Crowley Bridges, of Rockford, IL., went to his heavenly home on July 22, 1973. Funeral services are scheduled in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the foyer of the chapel immediately following the service. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. A memorial service in honor of his life was held in Rockford, IL. He was born May 25, 1891, to Roy C. and Ida Crowley Bridges. In 1941,he married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Houser, in Paris. They shared 32 loving years. He enjoyed many happy years meeting, greeting and sharing the word of God with friends and strangers alike. He will be remembered for his knowledge of the Holy Bible, his faith in God's plan and his dedication to his friends, family and church through Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his daughter, Mary and a son, Mark Crowley Bridges of Rockford, IL.
