Shreveport, LA Jeanne Bell Gardner was born November 27, 1935 in Shreveport, her parents were Humphrey and Essie Thomas. The last four years Mrs. Gardner has resided in Glenpool, OK. She went to be with her Lord February 15, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.
Mrs. Gardner was a graduate of Fair Park High School. She was very active in her Church, Pinecroft Baptist Church. She sang duets with her cousin and was very active in the choir.
Mrs. Gardner is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Conrad Gardner. She is survived by her son, Chris Gardner; daughters, Kimla Hathaway and husband Clay, III, Roxanna Herring and husband James, and Tina Keas and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Samantha Hathaway, Derek Herring and wife Jessie, Nathanial Herring, and Dylan Keas; a great-grandchild, Logan Herring; and several other relatives and friends.
A service celebrating the life of Mrs. Gardner will be conducted Saturday, February 20, 2016, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
