"Billie" Grice, age 85, a resident of Dodson, LA, was the daughter of Charlie Townsend and Nancy Bell Adams Townsend. She was an active member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Tannehill, LA, where she participated in the WMU.
She was prceded in death by her parents; husband, W. L. "Jack" McFarland; sons, Jackie Lynn, John T. and Samuel Dale McFarland; four step-sons, G. T., W. L., Jr., Troy Varnell and Loran McFarland; and two step-daughters, Wardell M. Gray and Marjorie M. Garrison.
Survived by daughters, Thelma Anderson, Nancy M. Gordon and Myra M. Istre; step-daughter, Cleo Kavanaugh; sons, Charles, Bud and Pete McFarland; step-sons, Bobby Jo and Lester McFarland; brother, C. J. Townsend; 38 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
