He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, one brother, two sisters and one grandson, Rick.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Alma Winkle; two daughters, Lavena (Bill) Brown and Phyllis (DeWayne) Jones, both of Newport, Oregon; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He leaves three sisters in California and one in Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, September 22, 2006, at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 W. 1st in Kennewick, Washington.
