Reba D. Dill of Sutter Creek, CA, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her home.

She was a resident of Amador County since 1948.

She was born in Everton, Dade County, MO, to Albert Harrison Winkle and his wife Cora Iva Winkle (nee Mallory) on November 16, 1920.

Reba was the widow of Harrison W. Dill who passed away in 1977.

She is survived by son; Robert H. Dill of Jackson and daughter; Helen L. Sauer of Chula Vista, CA, grandchildren; Carol Miles of Sonora, CA, James Sauer of El Cajon, CA, Geoffrey Sauer of Murrieta, CA, Stephen Dill of Pioneer, CA, Jason Dill of Plymouth, CA, Jennifer Rose of Pine Grove, CA; twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Additional survivors are son-in-law; Ray Aubrey of Jamestown, CA, and daughter-in-law; Vickie Dill of Ione, CA. One sister Dorothy Litle, of Redding, CA, survives her.

Reba’s favorite pastimes were sewing, gardening, and cooking. Her knowledge in these areas was an inspiration to others who sought her out for guidance. Her beautiful quilts grace many homes. In past years she enjoyed travelling. She was a member of the Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene.

Besides Reba’s husband Harrison, she was predeceased by daughter; Myrtle R. Aubrey of Jamestown, CA, son; George A. Dill of Pine Grove, CA, and grandson; Kevin R. Aubrey of Sonora, CA. Reba’s brothers and sisters who predeceased her were: Monta Winkle of Kennewick, WA; Charles Winkle of Everton, MO; Ruthie Aleshire of Greenfield, MO; Nina Nadine Dickerson of Modesto, CA; Russell Winkle of Everton, MO; Betty Vaughn of Leeton, Johnson County, MO, and Audrey Wooten of Jackson, CA.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested those so inclined may wish to donate to a favorite charity.

Graveside services were held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Sunset View Cemetery.
