My great great grandparents, Susan G Moore and James Hoover married on 26 Dec 1837 in Bedford Co, TN. They had three sons and six daughters. Shown in the photo is one of those daughters, Susan Olivia with her husband Dr. Benjamin Richard Thomason and their son Ewing who became the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, mayor of El Paso, Democratic member of the U S House of Representatives and a federal district judge. .
Another of James and Susan's daughters, Caledonia Jane, is my great grandmother who married William Clary Brown.
