On February 15, 1930, at St. James Church in Bay City, she married Clarence Haske, a native of the small farming community of Gilford in Tuscola county. He lived quite close to her paternal grandparents, so they knew each other from a very young age. He died suddenly in 1971.
Mother of Dorothy, Clarence, Betty, Daniel and Lorraine.
She developed Multiple Sclerosis, which took a terrible toll on her body. She was particularly hard hit after the death of her husband. Her large family circled around her and made a point of touching base with her every day.
She was finally confined to nursing homes, where she died in 1992.
