Agnes, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Linwood Assisted Living.

She was born on her family farm on November 24, 1924 to John and Christine Richard in Portsmouth township, just south of Bay City, Michigan. Agnes married Frederick Johnson, of neighboring Buena Vista, on October 16, 1943 at St. James Church in Bay City.

Agnes was survived by eight children: Geraldine (Dave) Pietruszewski, Donald (Michaelene) Johnson, Carol Williams, Theresa (Ray) Kraatz, Tom (Denise) Johnson, Richard (Carol) Johnson, Janet (Gary) Kernstock, and Kay (Dean) Fenwick; friend of the family Edna (Randy) Ostroski; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, and two of her sisters, Helen Lynch and Bernice Lynch, of Munger, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Frederick and Jonathan Williams, four sisters and three brothers: Isabelle Hugo, Alvina Haske, Bertha and Evelyn Lynch, Frank, Bob and Al Richard.

The Funeral Mass took place on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish.
