PAWNEE — Eva Lorene Potter went to be with her Lord February 4, 2015, at the age of 91 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Eva was born April 4, 1924, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to James and Savanah Bias.

Eva married Henry C. Potter September 6, 1947, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and the happy couple moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, in October 2001. The couple celebrated 62 years of marriage before Henry passed in 2010. Eva was a devoted wife and mother, she was an immaculate housekeeper, who loved to make her own clothes, and loved to quilt and sew. The couple enjoyed traveling all across America in their R.V.

Eva leaves to cherish her memories one son and wife; two grandsons; four great-grand children; one sister; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Eva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Potter; her parents; and twelve brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016, in the Eshelman Chapel at the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma with Senior Adult Minister Chan Ray officiating.

Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Pawnee, Oklahoma.
