The death of John Lecomte occurred in the Sanitarium in Shreveport on Monday where he was taken the [Thursday before because] of a sudden change in his condition after a slight [operation] upon his leg a day or two ago, made necessary from a slight blow that caused him [some] trouble but little suffering. The remains were brought here and interred in the Catholic Cemetery. Besides a father, he leaves three sisters, one brother and a number of relatives.
