Early Life: Virginia was born November 14, 1919, to Myron Oscar and Clara Guymon Boyer, the second of their six children.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Virginia and Glen Arthur Law’s love story began in high school; their marriage on January 1, 1940, was solemnized in the Manti Utah LDS Temple on January 11, 1958. Virginia loved being an ordinance worker in the Provo Utah LDS Temple for almost seventeen years; indexing handwritten records (beginning with Latin and Old German) for eighteen years; and being a full-time family history missionary in Salt Lake City. She in fact filled every possible day with kind deeds and good works as she supported her family, her community and country, and as she lived the gospel which she loved so dearly. Her selfless service included giving weekly physical therapy for seventeen years to a neighbor who was paralyzed after an automobile accident and sewing and giving hundreds of quilts to grandchildren, to newborns in her ward, and to the LDS Church Humanitarian Services. At the age of ninety-six, encircled by family members, Virginia Boyer Law passed away peacefully January 27, 2016, at her home in Springville, Utah.
Family Message: "We rejoice that after almost thirty-one years of separation from her sweetheart and fifty-seven years from her tiny son that “Gini” is reunited with them and with other loved ones. Goodnight Mother Dear — We will see you in The Morning"
Survived By: Two sisters and a brother: Marjory Boyer (Edward Eugene “Ted” Davis), Genevieve Boyer (Lee J. Olsen), and Stanley Boyer (Pauline Sorensen); seven children: Judy, Dyanne, Ronald Arthur (Deanna Peay), Kerry Dean (Julia Renee Holmes), Lorraine (Philip Lynn Montgomery), David Glen (Janine Gale Williams), and Debra Kae (Lawrence Evans “Butch” Degn); 23 grandchildren; and 53 great-grandchildren (including twins expected in March).
