Southaven-JoAnn Shettles 78, passed away January 30, 2016 at the Baptist Hospital in Desoto County. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point and working crossword puzzles. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in the Sherman Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bobby L. Shettles of Nesbit; children, Karen Shettles of Southaven, Melissa Taylor (Robert) of Sheffield, Al, Gary K. Shettles (Debra) of Nesbit, Jerry Shettles (Susie) of Walls, Bobby Joe Shettles of Southaven and Jason Glenn Shettles of Southaven; sisters, Sue King of Sheffield, AL and Janet Fain of Sheffield, AL; brothers, Sammy Garner of Belgreen, Al, Roger Garner of Florence, Al and Herbert Garner (Deborah)of Sheffield, Al ; eight Grandchildren; eleven Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Lou Reed Garner Sr.; sisters, Mary Alice Watts and Martha Ward; brothers, Charles Garner and Frank Garner Jr.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home Wednesday from noon until the service at 2:00 P.M.
