Arthur C. Potter

Binghampton – Arthur C. Potter, brother of Clark A. Potter, of 10 Watkins Ave., Oneonta, died at Binghampton City Hospital, of a heart condition. He had been in ill health for several years.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at his home, 3 Deforest St. Binghampton, with the Rev. Joseph H. Smith, pastor of the Chenango Street Methodist Church, officiating.

Mr. Potter was born in Rome, New York, February 19, 1871, the son of Charles and Delia (Hall) Potter. In 1898, he was married to the former Minnie Kates in Sanitaria Springs. His wife passed away in 1942. They had no children. He was retired engineer on the D&H Railroad and was formerly employed at Kilmer Medicine Co. in Binghampton.

Mr. Potter is survived by one brother, Clark A. Potter of Oneonta; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Monroe of Mount Vision, Mrs. Bert Dryden of Hartwick, Mrs. Nettie Heinmiller of New York City, and Mrs. Maude Mattison of Schenectady; and several nephews and nieces.
