Tammy Sue (Hester) Wilson, 50, of Switz City, Indiana, went to Heaven surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on November 29, 1965 in Linton, Indiana to Ronald W. and Patricia 'Patty' Rose (Kirkpatrick) Hester. Tammy married Michael Jay Wilson on December 28, 1985.
Tammy had a strong, Christian faith and enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, her grandchildren, fishing and spending time with her family. She was employed at Crane as an Electronic Technician.
Survivors include: two daughters, Tasha (Jared) Sargent of Switz City and Tiffany (David) Doyle of Linton; a step-son, Erek Wilson of Linton; two grandchildren, Chloe and Kohen Doyle; one brother, Ricky Hester of Granger and one sister, Tracy (Scott) Keith of Bloomfield.
Tammy was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Michael Wilson and one sister, Vicky Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Ricky Hester officiating. Tammy will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
