Daughter of William T. and Elizabeth (White) Bright, the eldest of their 12 children. Vedia Pearl moved to Florida and became a Citrus County resident in 1952. She was a homemaker, wife and mother but she also worked as the bookkeeper and a waitress for the well- known Jones Truck Stop and restaurant in Crystal River. Among her many gifts she will be remembered as a loving Mother, Granny, Sister, Aunt Vedia, avid card and game player, gardener, excellent cook and immaculate housekeeper. Her love, compassion, kindness, and generosity for her family was limitless. She was loved and will be missed by all.
