Ola married H. T. Cornelius on June 3, 1917 in Amarillo.She was born in DeQueen, Arkansas and was a member of the First Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband; sons, H. T. III and Carroll of Amarillo; daughters, Mrs. R. K. Bruner and Mrs. V. L. Van Ausdall of Amarillo; a brother, Claude Richards of Shawnee, OK; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Ola May Cornelius, a longtime Amarillo resident, died this morning in Northwest Texas Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are pending with N.S. Griggs & Sons.

Mrs. Cornelius was born at De Queen, Ark., and had lived in Amarillo for 51 years. She married H.T. Cornelius June 03, 1917 in Amarillo. Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1967. Mrs. Cornelius was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cornelius is survived by her husband, Hallen "Bap", sons Hallen Tuck, John Richard and Charles Carrol Cornelius. And two daughters Dorothy Bruner and Marilyn Van Ausdall. One brother, Claud Richards, of Shawnee Oklahoma. Along with five grandchildren & one great grandchild.
