"Emma" was the daughter of Caleb Benson & Mary Jane Lowe.

She married (1) John R. Haskins on 26 Nov 1878 in Magnolia, Harrison Co., IA. After his death, she married (2) John William "Will" Sprinkel on 19 Mar 1893 in Harrison Co., IA.

The 1910 census shows that Emma has given birth to 6 children, 5 of whom are living. We can identify five children. Emma & John Haskins had three known children: Nettie Lena (Sprinkel); Eva M. (Carr, Poe, Brushwood); and Elizabeth Bernice (Yates, Brown). Nettie's husband was Karl F. Sprinkel, who was a brother to her mother's 2nd husband, John William "Will" Sprinkel.

Emma & Will Sprinkel had two known children: Matilda Jane (Hedrick) & Arling Eldo.
