Passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Riverbend Place, Cambridge. Karl Deeg, 82 years of age, beloved husband of the late Anna (1973), loving father of Anita Kreuger (Ken Kerr) of Cambridge, Randy (Rose) of Cambridge, Rob (Karen) of North Delta, B.C., and the late Ingrid. Dear grandfather of Jen (Todd) Rooth, Jaime Westrop (Peter) Troeung, Jeff Westrop, Tracy (Jay) Wing, Kristoffer Deeg-Rutherford, Thomas Deeg, Amanda Deeg, Mark Deeg, and Michael Deeg. Dear great-grandfather of 7 great-grandchildren; predeceased by his sisters Freida, Luise, and Martha, all of Germany. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and many other family members in Germany and Canada.
Karl’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1248 Kramp Road, Shantz Station at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with interment at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
