PIONEER NOLAN RESIDENT DIES

Sweetwater, July 5 - Mrs. W. B. Hartgraves, 69, resident of Nolan County since 1900, died at Sweetwater Hospital at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday. She had been ill several weeks.

Funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Fundamental Baptist Church here with the Rev. A. L. Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Maryneal Cemetery with Patterson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hartgraves was born in Hamilton County on Feb. 4, 1880. She was married to Mr. Hartgraves in 1898 in Hamilton and moved to Maryneal a year later. She had lived in Sweetwater since 1929.

Survivors include eight sons, Otho and Bascom Hartgraves of Maryneal, Ray Louis, Ennis and Elwood of Sweetwater, Roy of Hamlin, and Harold of Lowrey Field, Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. C. H. Arrick of Big Spring, Mrs. C. G. Crowell of Plainview, and Mrs. Spencer Duke of Houston; a sister, Mrs. R. L. Scott of Sweetwater; 32 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
