SWEETWATER -Louie Clayton Hartgraves, 91, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in Abilene. Services will be held Friday 10 A.M. at Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Lyndel Hix officiating. Burial will be at the Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mr. Hartgraves was born in Maryneal, TX. He was in Real Estate, business, income tax business, and insurance business many yrs.
He married Ida Lucile Harbour in Sweetwater who preceded him in death. Then he married Opal Talbot in Sweetwater. She also preceded him in death. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Brice Hartgraves of Duncanville; daughter Mary Stark of Quitaque; sister Ada Crowell of Corpus Christi and Jewell Arrick of Big Springs; step-daughter Vera Holloman of Sweetwater; 4 stepsons: Bill Talbot of Pleasanton, Mike Talbot of Arlington, Don Talbot of Ft. Worth.; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-great-grandchildren
Family visitation will be Thursday 6-8p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
