Alfred (Fritz) Schad, 41, of Route 2, Kiel, died Saturday in Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee. Funeral services will be 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel and 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Schad was born August 15, 1936 and in the Town of Schleswig, son of Mrs. Theresa Meyer Schad and the late Jospeh Schad. She attended Kiel High School and married Arlene Koenig August 25, 1962 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The couple
farmed in the Town of Schleswig and he was also employed at Brost Food Market, School Hill for eight years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Men’s club of the church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Craig, Wayne and Kevin and six daughters, Laurie, Brenda, Barbara, Joanne, Lois and Rose at home; his mother, of Route 2, Kiel; six brothers, Bernard of Milwaukee; Alois of St. Nazianz and Norman, Frank, Roman and Raymond of rural Kiel; five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Litz, Mrs. Anita Franzen and Mrs. Josephine Schaeffer of rural Kiel, Mrs. Bernadette Madson of St. Nazianz and Mrs. Mary Schmitz of New Holstein.
Friends may call at Mieselwitz Funeral Home after 4 o’clock this Monday afternoon and Tuesday until the time of service. A wake service will be 8 o’clock Monday evening.
