Mrs. Frank (Gertrude) Litz, 64, of Route 1, Valders, died Friday evening, October 5, 1986 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz and 11:15 am at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Litz was born January 22, 1922 at School Hill, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Meyer Schad. Mrs. Litz attended Holy Trinity School at School Hill. She married Frank X. Litz on May 20, 1942 at School Hill. Mrs. Litz was a member of St. Gregory Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Leatrice Litz of rural Kiel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cecilia and Joseph Jacobs of New Holstein and Dorothy and Joseph Prokop of Mequon, Wis., six brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Lillian Schad of Butler, WI., Norman and Dolores Schal of rural Kiel, Frank and Helen Schad of rural Kiel, Alois and Lillian Schad of rural Valders, Raymond and Alice Schad of School Hill and Roman and Janice Schad of rural Kiel; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine and Edwin Schaefer of School Hill, Bernie and Erv Madson of St. Nazianz, Mary and Kenny Schmitz of St. Nazianz and Anita and Glenroy Franzen of rural Kiel and 10 grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother Alfred.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, from 5 pm to 9 pm this Sunday.
A parish prayer service will be held at 8 pm.
