George "Gee" Lee Green was the 2nd son and the 4th child of Willis Scoggin Green and Mary "Mollie" Elizabeth Hastings Green. He married Clara Wood Gillaspie on Feb 11, 1916. There were no children to this union. Gee was a brother to my maternal grandfather, William Hosea Green.

LATE WEATHERMAN'S BROTHER SUCCUMBS
Coleman -- George "Gee" L. Green, 81, former Coleman resident, died Monday in Houston where he had resided since moving from Camp Colorado community.
Mr. Green was brother of the late W. H. Green, longtime Abilene Weather Bureau meterologist, who died a short time ago.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Houston at the Sam H. Green Funeral Chapel. Graveside rites were conducted at 2 p.m. in the Dodge Cementery.
Mr. Green, son of the late Willis S. Green of Buffalo community in Coleman County, was born and reared in Coleman County. He operated a stock farm many years before moving to Houston.
Surviving are his wife, Clara; a brother, E. C. of Snyder; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Farris of Bangs, Mrs. Raymond F. Holland of Brownwood, Mrs. Emma McDonald of Haskell, Mrs. J. L. Ingram of Coleman, Mrs. Stella McDonald of Abilene. Residing in Abilene also are four nephews, Willis R. Moore, Walter S. McDonald, Willis H. Green, Allen McDonald; two nieces, Mrs. J. N. S. Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Harley Bateman.
