Ruth Jane Marble, 94, of Star City, died October 23, 1994, at Drew Memorial Hospital at Monticello.
A daughter of the late John I. and Molly McCarty Butler, she was born March 6, 1900, at Star City. She was a housewife and member of the First United Pentecostal Church at Star City.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd "Red" Bailey, Ralph Postel and Billy Postel, all of Star City; two daughters, Mattie Ruth Rodgers of Star City and Juanita St. John of Pine Bluff; a sister. Ila Fritz of Forth Worth; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p. m. Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home at Star City with Adam Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Floyd Bailey at Star City.
