Mrs. Mollie Butler
Star City -
Mrs. Mollie Ann Butler, 87, died late Monday at Jefferson Hospital at Pine Bluff. She was the widow of John Iverson Butler.
Mrs. Butler had lived most of her life in Lincoln County.
Mr. Butler died in 1961.
She was a member of South Side Missionary Baptist Church at Star City.
Surviving are three sons, Travis Butler and Fred Butler, both of Star City and John Butler of Hawthorne, California; three daughters, Mrs. Allie Whitten of South Carolina, Mrs. Ruth Marble of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Ila Fritz of Temple, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be announced by Buie Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Star City.
Pallbearers will be Easel Whitten, Edward Whitten, Carroll Bailey, Floyd Bailey, Jimmy Butler and Charles Ray Butler.
