Victoria -- Lioba Meis, 88, Victoria, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria.

Mrs. Meis was born Lioba Lang on March 15, 1905, at Victoria and lived most of her life at Catherine.

She was a resident of St. John's Rest Home since 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Her husband, Carl, died in 1975.

Survivors include three sisters, Sister Mary Zita Lang and Sister Catherine Theresa Lang, both of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Mary Riedel-Pfeifer of Victoria.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the St. Catherine Catholic Church, Catherine, the Rev. Earl Befort officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Rest Home, Victoria. The Cline's Mortuary, Victoria, 412 Main, Victoria, is handling arrangements.
