Victoria -- A lifetime resident, Peter J. Lang, 72, died Saturday, Feb. 12 at St. John's Rest Home. He was born April 11, 1910 at Victoria, the son of John and Catherine (Brungardt) Lang.

He married Regina Pfannenstiel on June 2, 1931 at Victoria; she died Oct. 10, 1979. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include three sons, Vitus, Valerian and Donald, all of Victoria; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ron (Doris) Lang, Victoria; two brothers, John, Victoria, and Emanuel, Hays; five sisters, Mrs. William Riedel, Park, Mrs. Lioba Meis, Victoria, Sister Basilia Lang, Sister Mary Zita Lang and Sister Katherine Lang, all of Fond du Lac, Wis.; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Father Gene Emrisek officiated; burial was in the church cemetery.
