Paul G. Morse, age 77, died January 26, 1996 in Salt Lake City.

Born December 15, 1918 in Abilene, Kansas to Ernest L. and Helen Gleissner Morse. Married Jaqueline Brown August 26, 1945 in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Richmond, Vermont.

Graduated from Abilene High School in 1936. He was a member of the National Honor Society and also a Summerfield Scholar. He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Engineering in 1940. Member Tau Beta Pi Honorary Fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, Elfun Society, I.E.E.E. Worked for General Electric Company. He invented a network analyzer, and also helped develop radar for the B-29 during World War II. He loved sailing, and was a sports fan for the great Cubs, Jayhawks, Utes, Jazz and the Rockies. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He especially enjoyed his Friday noon get-togethers with his fellow retired G.E. Engineers. Had a great love for all animals.

He is survived by daughters, Suzanne Wawrinofsky (Lynn), Patricia Steuri (Stanton); son, Donald Morse (Gini); seven grandchildren; seven nieces; twin brother, E. A. Morse, Abilene, Kansas; sister, Margaret Stark, Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by his wife, Jackie, Dec. 6, 1966.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 2, 1996, 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 261 South 900 East. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society. Directed by Evans & Early Mortuary.
