COUSHATTA, LA – Funeral services for Lillian Elizabeth Shaw, 85, of Coushatta, LA will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in St. George Catholic Church, Coushatta, LA under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta, LA. Burial will follow in Thomas-Wren Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 starting at 6:00 P. M. that will include a Rosary in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Father Ampatt. Ms. Shaw was born October 12, 1930 in Lyons, GA and passed away November 13, 2105 in Coushatta, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elza Collins; husband, John Shaw; daughter, Julia Ann Shaw; and a brother, Elton Collins. Ms. Shaw is survived by her daughters, Audrey “Lynn” Newman and husband, James of Yuba City, CA, Karen Michelle Marx and husband, Kirk of Ramona, CA, and Sandra K. Brown and husband, Jimmie of Coushatta, LA; grandchildren, Bethany Schmidl and husband, Brady, Ashley and Amanda Marx, Kristopher Lee Pickett, Michael Pickett, Candice Jeansonne and husband, Andrew; great grandchildren, Madeline Schmidl, Olivia Schmidl, Doris-Marie Pickett, Amelia Elizabeth Pickett, Taylor Elizabeth Turner, Harlie R. Stanford, and Shelby Ann Pickett and a number of other relatives and friends.
