Lucy Mae Wright 76, of Franklin, KY entered into rest Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hopkins Care & Rehab in Woodburn, KY. Lucy was born February 9, 1939 in Edmonson Co., KY. She was preceded in death by her parents Owen and Jerlene Vincent, three sons James, Johnny and Barry Prewitt and one sister Bonnie Maurer.
Lucy was retired beautician and charter member of Old Zion's Heritage Way Baptist Church in Woodburn, KY. Lucy was saved and baptized at 10 years old. Through many heart aches and tragedies she had never met a stranger and loved the Lord and her family more than anything. She is strolling through heaven with the Lord and her three sons. How we will miss her only the Lord will know, but we will be with her in glory.
Survivors include her husband Jim Wright, one son Richard Prewitt (April) of Sweden, KY, one daughter Theresa Wright (Randy) of Franklin, KY. One brother Charles Edward Vincent (Nelda) of Lindseyville, KY. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and also several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted November 17, 2015, Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Old Zion's Heritage Way Baptist Church, 837 Old Zion Church Road, Woodburn, KY. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2015 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel and Tuesday 9:00 am until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
