Jim was an U.S. Army Veteran during Vietnam Era. He was a charter member of the Old Zion’s Heritage Way Baptist Church, as well as a Deacon, Song Leader and Preacher. Jim was a salesman, loved trading anything and spending time with his coffee club friends at McDonalds. He had a big personality and will be truly missed by everyone.
Jim is survived by his son, Richard Prewitt (April) Sweeden, KY, daughter, Theresa Wright (Randy) Franklin, KY, two sisters, Brenda Baker (James) Franklin, KY and Barbara Johnson (Danny) Bowling Green, KY, a brother, Randy Wright (Theresa) Franklin, KY, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday at Old Zion’s Heritage Way Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and Wednesday at Old Zion’s Heritage Way Baptist Church; 837 Old Zion Church Rd. Woodburn, KY. from 10 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Old Zion’s Heritage Way Baptist Church.
