Mr. Paul L. Young, Sr., 90, passed away on November 10, 2015, at his residence in West Point. He was born on November 8, 1925, in Van Vleet in Chickasaw County the son of the late William T. and Hilma Smith Young. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Point. He was an United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a Superintendent for the West Point Water and Light Department for 40 years. He married Mrs. Addie Rae Wyatt on March 5, 1944. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Cliett and by two brothers: James and Floyd Young.

At the request of Mr. Paul and the family, there are no services scheduled at this time. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include His Wife Addie Rae Young of West Point; His daughters, Linda Young of West Point and Mary Scruggs (Lee) of Pheba; His son, Paul L. Young, Jr. (Carol) of Pheba; Two Granddaughters: Ashley Young and Alison Crawford (Tyler) both of Madison; One Great Granddaughter: Emeree Crawford of Madison; and His Two Sisters, Ozelle Burges of West Point and Pauline Wright of Meridian.
