Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St Peter's Catholic Church for Raymond S. "Sam" Bautch, 75, of 25547 Pleasant Road, who died Thursday at St Cloud VA Medical Center. Burial will be in St Joseph's Parish Cemetery, Waite Park, with full military honors provided by Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post 428. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post 428 will pray at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 Monday at the funeral home.

Raymond Bautch was born in Perham to Joseph and Frances (Lucas) Bautch. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He married Evelyn Fiereck on June 25, 1949, at St. Marcus Catholic Church, Clear Lake. He was employed by Franklin Manufacturing for 39 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St Peter's parish, Disabled American Veterans, Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post 428, Knights of Columbus Council 5548, Moose Lodge 1400 and the International Association of Machinists Local 623.

Survivors include his children, Cynthia L Savage of Milford, DeL, and Mary P. of Minneapolis; two grandchildren; brother and sisters, Stanley "Sonny" of Hibbing, Polly Theisen of St Cloud, Theresa and Toni of Briar, Wash., and Patsy Russell of Beaverton, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Nov. 5, 1991; and sister and brothers, Josephine Orton, Paul, Frank, Peter and Claude.
