William W. "Bill" Holbert, 79, died Saturday, April 7, 2001 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Monday in Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Holbert was born in Mannington, WV. He married Jean Palmer in Sweetwater. He was a Baptist, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Holbert of Colorado City; four children – Susan Bumpass of Granbury; Jennifer Hart of Sweetwater; Joe Kirschbaum; and Anna Gassiot of Abilene; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister – Wanda Penick of Sweetwater; three brothers, Bob Holbert of Fort Worth and Clarence Holbert and Don Holbert both of Odessa.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
