IRAAN Services for Glenna Marie Peacock, 56, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Iraan Baptist Church with the Rev. David Wyant officiating. Burial is to follow at 3 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery in Fredricksburg under the direction of Richard W. Box Funeral Home of Crane.
Mrs. Peacock died Tuesday at City of Faith Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. She was born May 2, 1928, in Sweetwater. Mrs. Peacock married Ken Peacock Aug. 8, 1948, in Sinton. She became president of the Chamber of Commerce of Iraan in 1972. Mrs. Peacock was later named secretary for the city of Iraan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She moved to Iraan from Sinton in 1971. Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven Peacock of Tulsa; eight . brothers, Ed Holbert of Huntsville, Tom Holbert of Ruidoso, N.M., John Holbert of Sweetwater, Clarence Holbert of Odessa, Walter Holbert of Milwaukee, Wis., Bill Holbert of Colorado City, Robert Holbert of Fort Worth and Donald Holbert of Odessa; and three sisters, Martha McBride, Wanda Penick and Juanita Ferguson, all of Sweetwater.
