Arthur E. McNealy, 86, Anderson, Ind., and formerly of Bartholomew County, died Sunday, June 13, 1993 in the St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.
He was born Sept. 29, 1906 in Hope, Ind., the son of Frank and Alma Burnes McNealy. He had worked for the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors for 38 years, and retired in 1966. He attended the East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson and was a member of the Madison County Farm Bureau.
On Dec. 16, 1933, he married J. Lenore Stuckey, and she survives; with one son, Nelson E. McNealy, Summitville, Ind.; four brothers, Joseph McNealy, Hope, Charles F. McNealy, Westport, Hubert E. McNealy, Columbus, Ind., and Fred E. McNealy, Rockland, Maine; five sisters, Clara Mae Chipman, Greensburg, Alice Vanest and Pauline McNealy, both of Columbus, Ind., Marcille Rudolph, Indianapolis,and Nelda Cain, Punta Gorda, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
The Rev. Dr. Sam Young and the Rev. George Harris will conduct the services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Norman Funeral Home in Hope, Ind.
Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
The family suggests memorials go to the East Lynn Christian Church Building Fund, and this may be done through the funeral home.
