Pearl Lena Kempton née Sturgeon, 87, of Satellite Beach, FL passed from this life on February 24, 2014 in Tallahassee, FL
Born in Covington, KY in 1926, Pearl met her husband, Norman Kempton, a decorated WWII pilot, at Wright-Patterson AFB. They moved to Satellite Beach in 1958. Pearl worked as a realtor in the Satellite Beach area for many years and was an avid bridge player.
Pearl contributed greatly to the success of GK Restorations, a Porsche restoration company, built by her son, Gary Kempton in Crawfordville, FL. She supported the growth of the company through her investments and administrative work with the company for many years.
She is survived by her grandson, Wesley; and a sister, Geneva Love, of KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, and her son, Gary Kempton.
