Astrea Sterner Boyette 86, of 2291 Manor Road, York, died Monday.
She was the wife of Alston L. Boyette
She was born in Gettysburg, daughter of the late Charles W. and Margaret E. Spangler Sterner.
Surviving besides her husband, is her brother, Emory L. Sterner Sr., of 2042 W. Stanton St., York.
She had been employed by the U.S. Steel Company in Pittsburg, for 36 years prior to retiring 22 years ago.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, 2290 School St., York, with Rev. Charles D. Baboian officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of other memorials, contributions can be made to the York County Cancer Society, 28 S. Queen St., York, Pa.
