Thomas Callahan Taken By Death

Thomas Callahan, for many years in the stockraising business in this part of the state, died this morning at Sacramento.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the O'Brien Chapel under the direction of the Reno Aerie of Eagles. Rev. Brewster Adams will be the chaplain. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Callahan was born at Jackson, Cal., sixty-nine years ago. For many years he and his brother, G.W. Callahan, were in the sheep business here, but several years he was retired, and had been living in Sacramento for the last year.

Besides his brother, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Sue B. Keagle of Portland, Ore., and four nieces, Caryle Keagle and Edith Leonard of Portland, Mrs. Susie Wilson of Copperopolis, Cal., and Mrs. Alda C. Riesenman of Wendel, Cal. He was a member of the Eagles lodge here.
