Funeral services for Willadean Hightower, age 90, of Cullman will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Dean Estes and Pastor Fred Rivers will officiate the service. Interment will be in Duck River Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is directing services.
Mrs. Hightower was born November 8, 1924 to the late Manuel and Lillie Howard Burks. She passed away October 11, 2015 at Cullman Long-Term Care.
She was a former employee of Cullman Lingerie and H & S Farms, and was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years Horace Hightower; brother, Edward Lee Burks.
Survivors include her son, Greg (Amy) Hightower; granddaughter, Peyton Hightower; brothers, James H. (Annie) Burks of Hayden, AL, Manuel M. Burks, Jr. of Goodlettsville, TN; sister, Nelda Burks (Dwight) Porter of Goodlettsville, TN; sister-in-law, Lucille Burks of Heflin, AL; nieces, Judith, Alice, Anita, and Patricia; nephew, Andre (Diana).
