Sr. Mary Christina Frieders, R.S.M., 91, beloved member of the Sisters of Mercy for 61 years, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 at Provena McAuley Manor. She was born November 7, 1914 in Aurora. Sr. Mary Christina was baptized as Veronica Frieders.
Loving daughter of the late John and Anna (nee Schuster); dear sister of Ruth (Ralph, RIP) Schmidt; and the late Leona, Grace, Sister Mary Christine R.S.M., Louise (Joseph, RIP) Schmidt, Carl (Marcella RIP), and Roy (Elaine); fond aunt of many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Provena McAuley Chapel, 400 W. Sullivan Rd., Aurora from 2:00-8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at McAuley Chapel. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
