All that was mortal of Orson Bisbee, father of the late Mrs. John C Koch, was laid to rest besde the body of his daughter in the cemetery overlooking Blackduck lake last Sunday afternoon. The body with was accompanied to Blackduck from Spooner by Mrs. Bisbee arrived Saturday night, and brief but impressive services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. J. H Frarey.

He was highly respected by everyone for his sterling character. Deceased was born in Michigan in 1848 and he was 65 years of age. [There was more to the obituary but it was mostly illegible.]

1900 Census: Orson Bisbee (51) born February 1848 in Michigan, was living in Bayfield, Bayfield, Wisconsin. He was married to Harriet Bisbee (44) born May 1856 in Canada. They had been married in 1876 and had been married 24 years. Children: Maud (22) born February 1878 in Michigan, and Minnie (17) born September 1882 in Michigan.

1910 Census: Orson Bisbee (60) born about 1850 in Michigan, was living in Baudette Village, Beltrami County, Minnesota. He was married to Harriette B Bisbee (53) born about 1857 in Canada.

1920 Census: Harriett Bisbee (60) born about 1860 in Canada, was widowed and living in Flint Ward 5 Genesse, Michigan. Occupation: nurse in a private family.

1923: Marriage of Elwyn G Bisbee & Harriet Bisbee, August 18 1923 in Flint, Genesee, Michigan. [She married the brother of her first husband.]

1930: Harriett Bisbee (74) born about 1856 in Canada, was married to Elwyn Bisbee (74) born about 1856 in Michigan. They were living in Flint, Genesee, Michigan.
