Clarabelle Kennedy, daughter of Wm. and Catherine Kennedy was born Jan. 29, 1875 near Larkin, Kansas and departed this life December 3, 1951. She was united in marriage to Charles Littleton, December 30, 1890. To this union nine children were born; Mrs. Lena Lines, San Pedro, Calif.; Clarence and Mrs. Ruth Robison of Denison; Lloyd (sic Floyd) of Valley Falls; William of Anita, Iowa; Mrs. Helen Eckert of Topeka; Fred; Mrs. Letha Bowland and Katherine Kientz of Wray, Colo. Besides these nine children she raised three grandchildren. Her entire life was spent in the Denison community where she became a member of the Christian Church early in married life. She was devoted to her home and family and was always ready and willing to help her neighbors and friends in sickness and time of need. Mr. and Mrs. Littleton celebrated their 60th anniversary last year. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and nine children, thirty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three brothers, Fred and Bryan of Wichita, Earl of California and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth White of Mulvane, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
