Thomas was the son of John and Rebeckah Titus of Hopewell Twp., old Hunterdon (now Mercer) Co., NJ. He was probably born in the 1725-30 period (say 1728) in Hopewell. He died probably just some days before 14 Oct. 1769, when administration of his estate was granted to his brother Samuel. He is presumed to have died in Kingwood Twp., Hunterdon Co., NJ, where he resided.
