JONESBORO -- Dallas S. Elrod, 79, of Jonesboro died Friday evening, May 16, at his home.
Born at Bay, he had lived all of his life in this area. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist belief.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Katherine Elrod; sons, Barry Elrod, Mark Elrod and Davey Elrod, all of Jonesboro; daughter, Melissa "Missy" Moore of Lenexa, Kan.; sisters, Lois Self of Piggott, Shirley Elrod and Joyce Gunn, both of California; eight grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
All services will be private.
