SACRED To the memory of DR. MARTIN J. GARY Who was born 4th February 1794 And departed this life 10th September 1828 A heart rendering privation To his family and connections A serious loss to the community And an irreparable breach In the Medical world. A man who by his integrity, Firmness, perserverance and Indefatigable industry overcame The prejudices and sneers of the Most inveterate of his enemies And perpetuated the Confidential respect of his most Sanguinary friends. This his disconsolate Widow offers As a token of her love and as but a Feeble tribute of respect To the memory of her departed and Much lamented husband.
