Joe S. Higginbotham, age 81, died at the Somerset City Hospital Wednesday, October 30th. Mr. Higginbotham was born on June 25, 1876 in Wayne County, a son of the late Phillip and Jane Barnes Higginbotham.
He had always been a farmer and lived at Mill Springs.
He is survived by three children, Mrs. Sam Russell of Indianapolis, Mrs. Gussie Bolander of Mill Springs, and Robert C. Higginbotham of Indianapolis.
Funeral services were held at the Mill Springs Methodist Church Saturday at 10-30 by Rev. Wendell Hurt. Interment was in the Elk Spring Cemetery, with the Richard Lee Funeral Home in charge.
