Gerald is survived by his children, Jim García, Beverly Lucero and her husband, Ernie, Deborah Cooley and Janet Romero and her husband, Nol, sister, Agnes Humphry, sister-in-law, Viola García, grandchildren, Michelle García, Monique Bechtold and her husband, Aaron, Jamie Luján, Adam Lucero and Chelsea Romero, great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah and Uriah and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Interment will be at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
